Guided Heirloom Portraits

Turn a favorite photograph into a timeless portrait

Guided Heirloom Portraits make Morgan Owens’ signature heirloom style available to families everywhere. Upload a photograph you love, and Morgan will transform it into a custom portrait that is printed in-house on museum-quality fine art paper.

How the process works

1. Choose a clear photograph

Select a favorite image with the face in focus and the eyes clearly visible. An original, high-resolution phone or camera file usually gives the best result.

2. Select your portrait

Choose from the sizes and finish options shown on the product page. Some offerings include matting or framing so the portrait arrives ready to display.

3. Upload or email your photograph

Upload the original image file using the field on the product page and complete checkout. If you check out without uploading a photograph, you may send it by email. In that case, processing begins when Morgan Owens Heirloom receives the photograph by email.

4. Morgan creates and prints your heirloom

Your photograph is thoughtfully prepared in Morgan’s signature heirloom style and printed on fine art, museum-quality paper. Customers do not receive a proof before printing. Guided Heirlooms are a print-only service; digital files are not included.

Processing, rush service and UPS shipping

UPS tracking is provided within 5–7 business days after the photograph is uploaded and checkout is complete. If you email the photograph after checkout, the 5–7-business-day period begins when the photograph is received by email.

A 2-business-day rush option is available for an additional $150. Contact us before ordering to arrange rush service.

Every order ships through UPS, and a valid street address is required; no PO boxes. Morgan Owens Heirloom ships worldwide, and orders of $300 or more qualify for free shipping.

Tips for choosing the best photograph

  • Use the original, highest-resolution file available.
  • Choose an image that is sharp rather than blurry.

  • Customers do not receive proofs before printing.
  • Orders cannot be changed or canceled after checkout.
  • Custom portraits are not refundable.
